Scholarships

Molalla River Education Foundation offers two scholarships;

The Presidential Service Award and the Donna Wendling Memorial Scholarship.

Winners of the 2008 Scholarships are:

On Tuesday, May 20th the fifth annual $1000, 2008 Donna Wendlilng Memorial Scholarship, was given to Holly Schaefer. Holly will be attending Eastern Oregon State University and will be majoring in nursing.

The $1000 MREF Scholarship for 2008 was given to Devin Walker. He will be attending Clackamas Community College in the Transfer Program then attending Oregon State University.

Congratulations to these outstanding students. They and their parents were very appreciative of the scholarships that they received.

Also a note for Jim Gilbert and our education forum committee. The Molalla High School faculty selected Sara Roth as the 2008 "Teacher of the Year" for Molalla High. Her honor was announced by the Principal, Mr. Ricker at the awards program.
